I started with a SkyFi2 installed in my car. I have just installed a SkyFi3 in another car and frankly I would prefer to upgrade the first car by replacing the Sky Fi2 kit with a Sky Fi 3 one.

Is anything compatible---antenna connectors, power etc? any guidance would be appreciated. If i can do this easily I will but if I need to rewire I will need help.

I receiveda reply in another forum indicating that the antenna connector is compatible but that the power connector is not.

I bought 2 and love it. Using a 3.5MM patch coard from the output of the car kit to factory AUX input - no need for FM mod. I love it.

Before you buy a Skyfi3, take a look at the new generation XpressRC, by far the best sounding, best screen, and probably most features of any satellite radio. Just the PQ of the screen is worth it using it in the car.

The Xpress RC is nice but it si also $170. And I ahve already purchased the Sky Fi 3
