One misconception you may have about the Sky Angel 2.0 upgrade is that it will affect only the Sky Angel TV service.
Actually, Sky Angel 2.0 is being rolled out to both the WebTV and the TV services. One of the shared features that both platforms are going to be benefiting from is adaptive streaming. With adaptive streaming, Sky Angel 2.0 will be able to detect your bandwidth and adjust its output to eliminate the need for "retrieving." In simple terms, they'll be less, if any, freezing of the picture.
But Sky Angel 2.0 doesn't stop there. With this new system upgrade, we'll be able to launch more versions of our service for devices such as iPad® and Roku to name a few. Not only that, but you'll have the ability to get Sky Angel TV,
Sky Angel WebTV and these additional services in bundled packages, making it more affordable for you to access Sky Angel programming no matter where you are.
We invite you to stay tuned as once the Sky Angel 2.0 platform is rolled out, we'll also be introducing these new services to you as we complete their development.
