Skip Issues

Anyone have problems with 'Skip' forward or back? I have a Hopper but I think the issue would be similar on any Dish DVR.
When I use skip I get major delays before it goes forward or back. And then when it does go forward or back, it freezes again, for several
seconds before resuming. Very annoying! This just showed up recently, and does the same with either my Dish or Harmony remote.

A full reset fixed it, pulling the plug. First time for everything I guess!

Bad again, new receiver coming. Freezes on all recording playback or when using SKIP.

I bet it has a bad hard drive and it's going to continually get worse until it fully fails.

That's what I suspect too. Replacement Hopper will be here Thursday.
