Sirius - Bit Rates

Amazinly after having DISH for 6 months, I have only just tuned into the Sirius channels. I have a ROKU and listen to a lot of internet stations that I love, but I was curious as to what quality the Sirius channels broadcast at. Are they 96K, 128K etc?

Also, does having Sirious thru DISH mean I can get it free in my car?

Some say 64k, some say 128k, some say 56k, I would imagine it differs depending on the type of content (voice or music).

Also, does having Sirious thru DISH mean I can get it free in my car?

I recall reading somewhere that the SIRIUS/Dish bitrate was 196kbps. And no this doesn't mean you can rebroadcast to your car. You'll have to pony up the $13/month.

The last time I checked the Sirius streams were running at 192kbps MPEG2.
