SimSubbing on *C HD?

During the Biggest Loser, on 284 (NBC-HD East) I got a black screen with "service temporarily unavailable", and during "Law and Order: SVU", they subbed in the CTV-Toronto HD feed. This seems to have started over the weekend.

Simsubs are done on SC by postal code. In this case, all Toronto/Hamilton p.c.s would see CTV on 284, all others NBC Detroit.

This differs from Bell, where the NBC Boston feed would have been replaced with the CTV feed at the satellite uplink site so that all Bell subs would receive the CTV feed.

but until this week, they haven't subbed the HD channels. or if they did, i haven't noticed.
