I had a simple question about my Dish 942 receiver:
I have 2 coax wires going into my 942 in the Sat In 1(A) and Sat In 2(B). When I run a Checkswitch I see that the Sat. 1 has Port 1 as 119 and Port 2 at 110 and Sat. 2 has the same Port 1 as 119 and Port 2 as 110.
My question is does this mean that the Sat In 2 line is redundant and I don't need to have the Sat In 2 line connected? If I disconnected this coax line would I still have the same connections to the two satellites at 110 and 119?
Also if this is true and I disconnected it what is the procedure for "rebooting" or running a new checkswitch to make sure my receiver works properly?
Thanks.
