You won't gain that much by using 3 1000.2's over i 1000.2 because the dish is detuned in the horizonal plane for 3 lnb's whether or not you use them.

To get more signal with 3 dishes you simply need 3 larger single focus dishes like hey use in Alaska and Puerto Rico.

Your statements ring true. 3 or 4 satellites require more skew than 2.
On a 1000+ dish for 4 orbitals, the skew setting changes quite a bit when peaking as a 500+ with 3 orbitals.

Yes 3 sat locations require more skew when they have 9 degrees of seperation. The 121 Superdish was basically a large dish because the FSS signal was so weak. With the 121 only being 2 degrees off of the 119, there was not much difference in the skew from the dish 500.
