This morning I am getting a signal loss on 119, all transponders, once about every 5 minutes. Otherwise I am getting a 72 reading which is normal for me on the 722K. Is anyone else having a problem?
Sounds like LNBF problem related possibly to temp. It's usually most likely to happen in hot weather but have know electronics to also go flaky with cold.Left home to do a little Christmas shopping. Came back and problem seems to be solved. Who knows
Sounds a lot like you tuner, or switch problem. Could be the line tween switch and 622 also.Last night my 622 started to have complete signal loss, then partial signal loss, then channel signal loss, then picture. Change the channel and it starts all over again. My 722 had no problems. This is about the 4th time in the past year that either the 622 or 722 had signal loss problems. Each time a Tech was sent out at no cost and each time neither receiver had a problem when the Tech arrived. The Tech could find no system problems either. Every time the problem occurs we lose what we are trying to record. There are many other posts on this forum that complain about signal loss on 622s and 722s. Most problems are temporary and not local problems. I believe the 622 and 722 have a very sensitive signal stregth sw test and the slightest signal variance starts the error process and then resets with the over night update.
The Dish Tech arrived and, of course, there was no signal loss going on. He looked at some diagnostics and said it was not the receiver. He then went to the roof.
He tested the LNbs and said there was definately signal loss. He changed out all LNBs and the problem has not reoccured. He explained to me lense problems in the LNBs.
