Side 2 IR?

I have a customer that wants to change side 2 of their 222K to IR. The user's guides says you can do it, but when you do what it says, it won't change. Does anyone have any experience with this that can help?

By side 2 do you mean TV2? If so you can't do IR on TV2 due to no line of sight to the receiver.

You can change the TV2 remote to IR but it will NOT control TV2 without getting an IR to UHF converter. TV2 can be controlled by UHF ONLY.

Its been the same book for over 7 years. I think they copy and paste it so often non of them know what is or isnt in a user manual anymore. Hell most of the time the cust throws away the manual within the first 24hrs.
