Shuttle launch on HD net 11AM est

Looks pretty windy. Those clouds might be a problem, too.
 
Give it a B- weather wise but other than that it was mostly uneventful other than the ice that melted away some prior to launch.
 
Did anyone else catch the solar panel repair coverage? It looks like one of the guide cables got snagged which is why the one panel got caught instead of moving freely along the guide cable. They showed the snag on the video downlink and it was a nasty snag. Since they had problems retracting that panel a couple of months ago, it's not surprising it wouldn't deploy cleanly.

Score one for a manned presence in space!
