Should I?

I live in NE NC and on the advise of several of you, I covered up the 129 on my 1000.2 and use the 61.5 to get my HD and locals. It worked great and now that 129 is now stronger do I need to uncover it or leave it as is because of my location in the US?

Uncover it and see. None of us really know the algorithm E* uses for the receiver to use either 61.5 or 129 when both are available. If you get signal loss you'll know to cover up one or the other again.

I put 129 back on a few days ago. So far it looks pretty good.

Thanks much for the replies. I thought maybe someone knew if 129 is now strong on the east coast. I will give it a try after another week or two because it's 27 here now and that dish is right in the direction of the cold wind. Again thanks, Shelton
