Short Markets

With the start of the NFL season just a few weeks away I was wondering if anyone knew how things are going with the FCC resolving the Distant Networks issue for those of us in the Short Markets?

I was hoping to be able to get our missing CBS station out of Dothan, Al this year for the NFL games..........and as long as I'm dreaming......... HD would be nice also.

until the FCC rules on it, Dish is still outlawed from giving you distant stations

If the whole DMA is considered sig viewed, then Dish can offer the neighboring stations. But in Panama City, the 2 furthest eastern counties in the DMA are considered SV for Tallahassee CBS area so Dish is still working on it with the FCC.
