Shipping time for new smartcard?

I activated a receiver that had the older smartcard last monday, and the csr said they would send out a new card so I could watch all the channels that have already been switched. Well, I called on Friday, and a guy said it had been shipped out on monday, no tracking number.

I called yesterday after checking the mail, and still no card. How the heck long does it take to get the card? I'm on the east coast, I dunno where they send them from. The guy said they have to wait 10 days before doing anything. I asked why they dont have a tracking number on these things, he didnt know.

I mean, come on, these cards are pretty valuable. You would think they would take every effort to prevent someone from stealing it. Not to mention people that claim "it never showed up" just to get a few extras. Even USPS offers package tracking. I really want to get my pool table room up and running and right now all I can watch is fricken channel 101

THe cards will probably come first class U.S.Postal Service so no tracking number.

Thats what I figured. Unfortunately the post office around here isn't the best. At least once a month I'll get mail thats not for my address. Usually its my neighbors, but a few times Ive had to drive over to the post office to hand them the mail back. Guess I'll just wait till Friday.

it should not take longer than 7 - 10 days. remember it has to go through the mail room before it hits the real post office.
