CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 3, 2005) - Shaw Cablesystems announced the latest addition to the High Definition lineup on Shaw Digital with the immediate launch of three new HD Channels: PBS (Fargo), NBC (Detroit), and ABC (Detroit).
"The addition of these HD channels to our current lineup adds to the superior entertainment experience that HD customers enjoy," said Cam Kernahan, Vice President, Operations of Shaw Cablesystems. "The HD content on these channels is among the best available and we know they will be instant favourites with our customers."
Current Shaw Digital customers in Winnipeg with an HD Digital Terminal and an HD-ready TV will receive these HD channels at no extra cost. HD customers who already subscribe to Movie Central will also receive Movie Central HD at no charge.

Shaw HD Digital Terminals are available direct from Shaw retail outlets and authorized retailers, and currently retail for $398.88. New customers purchasing the HD Digital Terminal can take advantage of Shaw Digital's special offers and receive up to $159.88 in programming credits when they sign up for Shaw's Total Entertainment or Total Home Bundles. Shaw HD Digital Terminals with built-in Personal Video Recorders are also available for $748.88 before programming credits.
