Sharp Starts Shipping 70-Inch LCD HDTV

Sharp is now shipping the largest commercially available LCD HDTV on the market, the 70-inch LC-70LE732U. The screen was announced at CES 2011, but it's finally hitting stores and homes with a crash only a massive HDTV can make.

And it's not a bad price either. Could help em eat a little plasma business. I just wonder what the uniformity on a set that big is gonna look like?
