Our of range and out of ideas!

Hooked up the new micro this morning. Drove on over to 97, installed firmware - did factory reset after. Sweet! Entered long/lat under motor set-up (USALS).

Selected the sats I can see (72 - 125). Tried to go to SM5 (116.8, my true south) after adding it to the sat list to check the center of my arc - get out of range error. OK, went up to the roof - used the motor buttons to drive to "0", hit the motor reset button for @ 30 seconds - came back in & selected 116.8 - good signal. Tweaked a little then saved the sat position.

Now every sat I select I get an out of range error?

Have done factory reset - software download - factory reset - they enter motor settings (did a few times) - no change.

Any chue what to try next?

Turns out to be even MORE stupid than that - with all the factory resets wiping out the user data I fat fingered 111.7 rather than 117.0 for the long.

Well, there is 3 hours wasted!

Thanks for putting me down the right road.

As a self imposed penalty I'm shutting it off for the day and mixing an adult beverage.;)
