Setting up Coolsat 4000

I'm a neebie at this, just got rid of the directv and purchased a Coolsat 4000 pro off of craigslist for 35.00 hooked everything up, I left the directv dish up, what do I need to do now to get up and running? any help would be great, thanks

The DIrecTV dish wont work. You need a 30/36" dish and a KU Band LNB for free to air. Depending on the DirewcTV dish which one it is you might be able to reaim the dish at 119W and pick up NASA, Angel One and Ion but thats about it

Why did you dump Direct tv? Did you go to cable? FTA is great ,but Iceburg is correct you need a much larger dish and a KU lnb for the free stuff up there. At the top of the page there is The List (right below the sponsors). Look thru it and you can see what you can get with the correct size dish.
