I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.
Elevation = degrees from horizontal to where you have the dish elevated to.
Axis = degrees from verticle to where you have the dish elevated to.
Zenith = Axis + Tilt or declination?
Tilt = declination
Declination = tilt
On my SG2100 the 'elevation' is about 56°. I figure elevation / declination must be the same across different mounts or it wouldn't track.
According to the calculators, my axis number is 34.37° which seems to jive with my guess above. Tilt is 4.81°. If I'm right them Zenith would be 39.18°. I figured with this forum's new found intrest in polar mounts I might not be the only one figuring this stuff out.
