Good evening,

I had asked the question a few weeks ago in regard to DirecTV packages, as I kinda need to downgrade my service to save some $$. But, it looks like I may suspend my service for hopefully just a few months, or until things get better. I had heard people mention that someone could suspend their service, and if it's possible, I may need to do it. My real question is, if I am able to go ahead and suspend my service, would I lose access to programs I have stored on the DVR? I have a 750gb external hard drive with many programs saved and was hoping to be able to at least watch them.

Thanks!

you should be fine as log as you leave it pluged in to the satellite signal even if it is suspended the dvr should still function, in playback mode.
