serious swm issues

Just received my swm-lnb. Hooked it up and have no signal. Worked fine up until now. I've tried pressing red button reset, changed satellite input to slimline5 (swm) still nothing. Here is where it gets even stranger...when i go to view signal meters I get 80% and higher on the sats on tuner 1. I go back to setup and receiver tells me searching for signal.

I have cable running from lnb into power inserter then out to receiver. Only one receiver hooked up. i also did software update not too long ago so software shouldn't be issue. I did try 0-2-4-6-8 on startup but can't find signal to get any newer software. is it the receiver? Is it the LNB? Please help!

Do you still have the BBC connected? If so, remove it as it isn't needed with SWM.

Yes B-Band converters removed.

I ended up fixing the problem, although can't explain what happened. I switched out receiver for brand new one. Hooked it up...recognized SWM rigth away. I had called Directv tech support then couldn't figure it out. decided receiver was a dud. I told them I would still use it as a single tuner receiver......soooooo....I hooked up the spiltter added dud receiver in another room...all of a sudden it recognized the swm. Can't figure it out, tech support baffled...who knows. All I know is it works now, too bad I had to activate another receiver to get it working.
