Is the use of the term "Senior Member" to imply ones age or how long they have been a member in good standing or something else? Somehow I think this has been abused.

It's probably based off of post count and nothing else.
Its a default feature in vBulletin, I think 100 posts. You are right Frank, its a dumb term.

Now that is funny! lol! I can crimp my own rg6 but would prefer a compression connector however to 3001-4000, heck I am already there but don't have the post count........ Hey! I can even solder my own RG-8 fitting.How about this.....

I checked the member list and if we changed it from 7500 to 5000 for the max we would gain like 5 members to that club

In all seriousness, I think the 100-count is a little low for a Senior Member.
And I say that on forums where I have 100 posts, too.
I'd suggest 500 for Senior, with other terms for 50, 100, 250, etc.
Wouldn't even be adverse to 1000 for Senior.
Funny thing is, though... there are some around here with 300 posts or less, who carry a pretty big stick.

I've never crimped coaxial cable... Tried screw-on connectors once, but they didn't work very well. Better yet, it was with RG59, not RG6 ! Maybe I'm not worthy....
