Dear customers,
We have decided to close the promo online store shop.prof-tuners.com.
This measure will support our distributors in different countries, as well as give impetus to the emergence of exclusive dealers in the following countries of interest to us: Turkey, Germany, Britain, Thailand.
The current list of dealers can be found at:

I'm not trying to start a flame war, because I understand not everyone here is a friend of Rick. .
That position should be shared with the manufacturer.I would rather buy from another dealer in the US.
If Prof is not going to sell direct, they ought to use some other US dealer, IMO...
I got mine directly from china, would never buy from Rick's
Cosmokramer11 said:Why would you not buy from Rick for?
Where (link please) & whenReputation.. Plus I got mine a hell a cheaper too
Because Rick and SatGuys as forums do not see eye-to-eye on this particular issue, I well suspect there are those here who would prefer not to deal with his business.
Has anyone tried this product?.....
TBS 8920 DVB-S2 HD PCI Card Satellite TV Receiver
...
...forum(s) where unencrypted feeds are posted openly. ... This is a touchy topic in the FTA world, as there are those who believe posting open feeds leads to their encryption, and there are those who believe the satellite operators know exactly what they are doing and could care less about open posting. ...
What about this unit....My recollection may be faulty, but I believe from the Linux drivers that the 8920 uses a CX24116 demod, which is the same as in the older generation DVB World 2104C tuners. I have several of these, and while they were good in their time, the STV0903 demod in the current generation Profs cleans their clock.
What about this unit....Omicom S2 PCI (DVB-S & DVB-S2) HD Satellite Receiver - eBay (item 280533607762 end time Aug-11-10 04:36:08 PDT)[/url]
Might be worth $70.

For the money, anything that normal Satellite TV use would suffer from? The STB6110 uses lower power but has more phase noise than a STB6100.
