Seeing triplicate

I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem viewing their HD channels.
I'm living in Long Island and use cabelvision, I have a scientific DVR box but I don't remember what number (I'm not home right now). The DVR box is connected to a rear projection RCA TV.

Recently I found that my channel 7 (abc hd) and channel 5 (fox hd) are showing up in triplicate on the same screen. I had a problem with channel 5 for a while but my dad hasn't called cablevision, I never had a problem with channel 7 until yesterday.

It's not picture in picture, but it's in 3 columns. Each column is showing the same channel. I'm basically seeing three squished channel 5's on the HD channel 5 and the same for channel HD channel 7. It's annoying since I am now stuck taping 24 and Boston Legal on regular 5 and 7.

Is it a bad connection, a crappy TV, or is it a cablevision problem?

never heard of that before, I would try rebooting the box. Unplug it for 10-20 seconds and plug it back in to see if that fixes the problem, if not try a new box
