DVB Outlet

I purchased a Neusat Fta couple of months ago. I could not get it to switch between lnb's. Finally borrowed a known good Diseqc. That was the problem.
They sent me a bad, Diseqc 1.0 switch. I have spent weeks emailing with them finally answering and asked me to send back the old one then they would send another. Did not give me an address. I finally after nearly two months got an address from them and sent it off. They sent a Diseqc 1.0 and it was advertised as a Diseqc 1.2.

Tv Toyz / aka Tv-Toyz / aka Tv Toyz for Boyz

Ordered signal meter 2nd of June and paid with Paypal. Recieved meter and it is Dead. Checked against known good meter. Emailed and no response. Today after over 3 weeks they sent Ebay a note saying I didn't pay for it.
Interesting, because just try to order from these guys without paying first!!
I have sent approximately 13 emails with not a single response until I sent info to Ebay, whereupon they told Ebay I didnt pay !! Lucky, I had all the PayPal info. I would not deal with these guys!

If you know of any other Ebay vendors that pull stunts like this, please post so we can try to keep our hard earned money.

Exactly the reason I won't buy anything off ebay-scammer's heaven. I would suggest
buying from some of the sponsors here at satelliteguys.

Although I do agree that buying from a sponsor is a great choice, I tend to disagree with your "scammer's heaven" comment. Having bought literally hundreds of items from ebay, I can only think of maybe one thing that I bought that I was not entirely impressed with. And regardless of that, you can afford to get burned a time or two given the awesome deals that can be unearthed given the right conditions, etc on a regular basis.

TV TOYZ ( not trying to give them a plug ) but I made only one purchase from them a Year and a half ago and I have no complaints , in fact it was for a CS 5K .

Because I've sold and bought items on ebay , I know how difficult it is to keep everyone happy , sellers who sell in volume sometimes lack the customer service expected from a reputable store or sponsor , that's why there are ratings on sellers .

I remember Sadoun also sold on Ebay , they were legit and solved many problems with customers , still as much as they try a few people were vocal about being disatisfied , so I guess I was fortunate I had very good transactions with them.

I used to buy allot of stuff on Ebay (I collect 16MM movies and thats the best place to find them), but I almost never buy there (even films) becouse I have been taken so many times (mostly due to fraud, which there is allot of in film collecting becouse there are so many bad/worn out prints out there). There are so many great companies (some sponcers/some not) here on this site and others, there really isnt much need for flea bay...some have great prices and some don't. Not that thats a pro or con for sattelite sellers on Ebay...just my 2 cents on why I don't buy there anymore.

I bought stuff from TV Toyz before and have not had any problems, but then again, I didn't have any issues after the purchase with any equipment.

The only other NON sponser I have bought more than 1 thing from is DVB Warehouse and that guy is top notch. He sells on ebay also like Sadoun does.

Make a copy of all the relevant emails and stuff and file complaint via Paypal, not Ebay. If it was paid for via Paypal, they should be able to resolve the issue for you since they should have the proof that you actually paid as their records will show the transactions!

I've bought several things off of ebay related to fta and have been mostly happy. There was one time I tried to buy some channel 3/4 deally bobbers that combine multiple channels in to one thing that I won bid on but it was bought by someone else so no biggie... I didn't pay or get the item. I used a pay now button or something, and somehow guess my transaction got cancelled... all other stuff's been fine.

As I mentioned over in this thread:
http://www.satelliteguys.us/fta-sha...supplies-buying-experiences-satisfaction.html
I've bought two things from both OmniDekora and Saeid Nassirian (ftanow)... great service from both! eBay My World - ftanow
eBay My World - omnidekora

I have had good dealings with TV Toyz (aka Wireless Nation). I buy a lot from them because they are cheap and close (takes 1 day for ground).

They are a little different when it comes to returns/etc. When I received a bad dreambox500 from them I tried to go through the "Normal" channels on ebay to no avail. Tried to get an RMA number from them on their website - nada. Turns out that all I had to do was just send the thing back (within their 10 day return period) and the guy sent a new one to me. Slightly unorthodox for online business nowadays, but I guess that's how they roll.
