SC EAI Async TXD SAT A/B Setting

The title says it all.

Option 6 on the 405s.

EAI

Choices are Async TXD or Sat A/B

Not in the 405 SC Manual.

Nothing when I google EAI Async or EAI Async TXD. No hits on EAI Async in Canadian Satellite Threads search either.

What is it? What does it do? And what is the proper setting?

The setting does not matter - it is a disabled function.

It was used in the long ago past for text data services thru the port now used for HDD-20X.
