SC 505 and 530 question

Hi,

If I have a SC 505 or 530 and have a standard 4x3 tv set can I view
the HD channels in letterbox via the S video connection?

Or will they only output HD in a squeezed anamorphic image on a 4x3 tv?

My 505 using either composite or s-video output has letterbox on HD channels and full screen on SD channels using settings - fixed 1080i output with 480i override.
