SBS-6 Move

SBS-6 is apparently still alive.
Panamsat is seeking approval to move it from 81° to 77° West to replace Galaxy 4R.
Galaxy 4R will be de-orbited in March 2009. The US Government is currently using both Galaxy 4R and SBS-6. Both are inclined.

It sure still looks good, electonics wise.

I certainly can't say the same for SBS-6 - that's the one that should go (but we'd lose one of the two remaining flying trashcans in the North American arc).
