SBC's Revenue Flat

The regional telephone company Thursday reported net income of 1.17 billion or 35 cents a share compared with 1.39 billion or 42 cents a share a year earlier. Results for the latest quarter include a charge of 263 million or five cents a share to cover the impact of a brief labor strike and a subsequent settlement.
