Saving primetime anytime

I have a hopper and Joey with the latest software. My question is I want to watch ABC recorded show and save it for more than 8 days from Primetime Anytime so why is there no menu feature for this? I get resume, start over, delete and more info only.

Make a timer for that show, then recordings of that show will persist.

there is, there are two option one is SAVE and the other is SAVE SERIES

Click on the show you want to save in the PTAT folder. Then click again on the show in the list that appears. Choose Save or Save Series. Or as suggested before set a one time or series timer from the guide
