With all the Spanish stuff disappearing from Ku, I am wondering if I would be able to receive the C band channels on SatMex 6 or SatMex 5 with a 1.2 miniBud in Manitoba.
I also have a couple of questions about 2 Ku channels on SatMex 5.

Are "Televisa mosaic" and "XEWT 12" spot beamed or could I get the here with a 1.2m dish?
What kind of programming does "Televisa mosaic" have?

Maybe someone in the northern US or Canada has tried it.

Satmex 6 at 113W....maybe
Satmex 5 at 116.8...unlikely. I have issues with a 6 footer in Minneapolis

It is as its name says it, a mosaic, the screen is divided in 4 equal size squares, has 3 active channels (sometimes 4) at the same time, each of those have their separate audio in two APIDs (left APID 1 for a channel, Right APID 1 for the 2nd channel, Left in APID 2 for the 3rd channel, etcetera).

The channels always has are: Canal 2, Canal 5, Canal 4 all of those from Mexico's capital, and sometimes the 4th channel is Galavisión México (canal 9 XEQ).

Cheers

Mike
