Satelliteguys an adult site?!

Not sure this is known and/or is considered of any importance:
European cell networks (Orange, O2 and two locals) consider satelliteguys an adult site...

If you ask to lift the restriction at the moment you buy the SIM, everything is OK.
But by default (and when buying the SIM from a kiosk) you won't be allowed to open it over 3G.

Same thing if you buy a pre paid phone from T Mobile.

We have submitted to be removed, but they say it could take up to a month.

A little update. I went to a public library today and just for giggles I remembered this thread and when I punched up Satguys, the library's computer had it blocked with a message indicating accessing an "adult" site wasn't permitted on their computers. I told an library staff, but they said the vendor that handle's the computers would have to do something.

BTW I should note I contacted the company that does the blocking and they have verified that the site is not an adult site and have removed me from their list.

Now its up to all the other companies who use their list to update their list to the newest one. So at some places it could be awhile before we are fully removed.

I am not about to accuse anyone, but I for one would really like to know why, who, and how it got on that list in the first place.

You can do an internet search and find links to anything posted anywhere if you use the correct words in a search.......... After logging out from SatelliteGuys I did an internet search and could even view member profiles and pictures.. Nothing on the net is private......... You may not be able comment on anything, but you sure can read our profiles and see our family pictures. I considered this stuff private, outside of our members........

Maybe this is why we have our rating!
