Satellite & Xbox live??

Does anyone know if the Xbox Live will even work with Satellite? And if it does work does anyone know if any certain dishes are better for online gaming? If I had cable availiable I would try it 1st but where we are it is our only option? By the way I am new here and hello to everyone

That is what I was thinking too. There are a couple of companies that are bragging of 256k for upload speeds? Is it the delay that will make it be so laggy or will it work w/256k as the ul???

It's the delay. The signal has to travel out into space 24,500 miles then back. A friend of mine is a bigtime online game player and he tried it. The lag was so bad he would die before he saw his opponent.
