I have been trying to set up my anolog Toshiba 1820 (and 4DTV 905) side car. In programing in the various satellite locations I notice there are 42 satellites pre-programed in and it looks like a total limit of 24 C and 24 Ku slots. This STB is old and many of the pre-programed satellites are out of date. This has been frustrating and I need to delete a bunch to make room for current ones. I finally found a procedure for doing this online (better than the manual).
Now I need a good list of what to enter or reference ID the satellites as I find them. Right now I'm using NPS Satellite Chart. I have found it fairly useful since it provides a matrix of channels/broadcast type. Is this the best reference??
BTW. I found a good site for additional info/instructions on various satellite boxes.
