I have recently purchased a 31" winegard dish, an invacom LNB, SG2100 dish motor, Pansat DISEqC switch and pansat 3500SD receiver. When reading the instructions on the dish motor in said to set the declination angle on the dish and set the elevation on dish to 24.1. The dish does not have an declination angle only an elevation angle. I am new to the satellite world and need help.

You might try posting this in the Free To Air Forums as they deal a lot more with motorized dishes. Perhaps a mod could move it there for him??

It's always confusing. Set your motor bracket elevation to YOUR latitude, and the dish elevation bracket to 24 degrees , to start. As you adjust for best signal Quality, one of the adjustements will be the Dish elevation adjustment. The other will be your azimuth ( east-west) on the pole mount. What is your True South satellite ? ( closest to YOUR longitude ) ?
