Hi Guys,

I currently have Dish and I want to take advantage of the better pricing on the 622 for upgrading to HD which involves installing a second dish. My current dish is pole mounted which is what I want the additional dish for HD to be.

The problem is that I live in Iowa, currently 8 degrees out, which of course means that another pole can not be installed right now. Can a coupler and another section of pole be connected to the original pole and the new dish installed above the old? Any other suggestions? Roof mount or wall mount are out of the question.

Thanks for the help!!

Bruce

i seriously doubt the installer would do anything like that, but i guess technically it could be done. You would have to do it and have it ready for the installer when he got there.

At an apartment building I used to live in I had a landlord that gave me the ok for 1 pole mount on the side of the building, when I tried to put up the second he got mad, so I did basically what you are wanting to do. Only I did it kind of as a Y shape, and had the dishes setting side by side
