I live in a multi dwelling unit, and thus, and local service operator is in charge of dish installations for my property. Unbeknownced to me, the local SO, World Cable, only has a 3LNB dish at my property. I've asked them kindly to upgrade the dish to a 5LNB dish, and they are complaining that it will cost too much -- around $300 including the mulitswitchers, and signal boosters and the dish. My response has been that if they cannot afford $300 then they should not be supporting this unit.
DIRECTV has agreed that as soon as the local SO converts my account to a residential account, they will come install a dish for me for free. What, if anything, do you think I should do to expedite the case? I've called DIRECTV and the local SO multiple times, and I've done a lot of leg work -- it's quite literally in the hands of the local SO at this point.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
