Hi I installed my system but I only can get 40-41 signal level and 00-01 signal quality what i am i doing wrong??? what are the right settings for the antenna set up on a marcuryII i got thr motorized package from satellite av help help i want to wath tv tonight

The LO Frequency or LNB frequency needs to be set to 10750.

I think this is the package you got: FORTEC MERCURY II SYSTEM MOTOR 36 INCH

I would set it up without the motor first. I would use a strong transponder on AMC 4 (101W) it is high in the sky for Mission, TX. Use transponder - 11821 H 5700 SR; Compass 182°, Elevation 59.2°, and LNB skew of +5.4° (rotate 5° counter-clockwise looking at the LNB as you face the front of the dish). Once you get comfortable using your system without a motor - then add the motor.

does galaxy 16 has any strong transponders??? scince that is my true south. by the way I did found amc4 s-75 qs-57-65. found like 15tv 6radio channels I guess thats pretty good. is there any other way to set the motor without true south sat.?? thank you for your help.

GREAT you are on your way. Use AMC4 to set up your motor - you do not have to use a Satellite that is your true south - you can use one that is close by.

You set up your motor and dish then using USALS, you motor over to 101 AMC4. In the above PDF the example uses 97W Galaxy 25, being as you have already scanned in AMC4 I would use that satellite instead.

tomorrow iam going to try amc 4 to set the motor. why i cant find galaxy 16??
