I have a 211 and an 1000.4 that I use with my RV. I currently us an Accutrac 22 Pro MK II which is fine for signal strength but I would like something that also identifies the sat I'm looking at. What is the most cost effective (read cheapest) meter that also identifies the sat? Thanks for any recommendations.

There is not really a cheap meter that identifies a satellite. Bird Dog might be the cheapest route. I have a First Strike which is the cheapest meter. It does not identify so to speak like you are talking about but instead you select the satellite you want to aim for and it gives you lock indication and the quality of it. It allows you to enter in the frequency and SR you are looking to get as well.
