Hey guys, i really need help finding sat 97w.. i have a 75 cm dish from ITB, Invacom LNB, captive works 800PVR... i tried everything, i'm lock on sat 97 but with low signal Strenght 65...quality 37
not all transponders are working, i even tried to use a coolsat 6000 that i have, samething
i' m using a meter to align the dish and i am at my maximum signal and i still have the low signal in the transponders that are working.

Please help me... been trying for 3 weeks now:mad:

If you are sure you are aimed at the right bird, and you've adjusted elevation and azimuth, that leaves:
- skew - twist the LNB for maximum Quality on the receiver
- focus - slide the LNB toward and away from the dish for maximum Quality
- switches - remove any in the signal path
- motors - reroute the signal around any motors in the path
- cable run - what kind and how long is it?
- connectors - what kind did you use and what condition are they all in ?
- and of course, there's always: get a bigger dish! - - ya might be getting adjacent satellite interference.

Where are you located?

i did play with the lnb,,, i put at 4-5 oclock position and all the way out..
no switch in the system...no motor...brand new cable (20 feet) and new connectors

i even have the forte star lnb...that one does not work at all and ait's new

for the invacom... single 10750 and for the fortec it is universl...
i'm in miami (south)

for ex: the al jazeera channel wich is in transponder 11999 h 2000... that one i can not get and much more transponders..
How many channels i should get in this SAT?

Do you have the receiver and TV next to the Dish? If so, choose any channel you do get and tune it in the best you can, using the meter in the receiver. The beeper meters are RF strength. The "Q" meter in the receiver measures the actual video and audio signals we want to see. (Laymans explaination - I KNOW it is not technical - ).

and how come 75% of the transpnders are not working...I did put it on transponders 12177 and align it to maximum strengh

Only one transponder is not working properly - as yet (12115 I believe) . It is being tested right now to see if it can stay on line. If you have a tin dish be sure it is not warped. Those systems, if not curable by careful reaiming, can be cause by a warped dish - particularly warped in the center. I do not know why individual transponders are affected, I thought it was signal strength, but after getting the signals again, one I was missing was the strongest.

On a 90cm dish you should get over 200 channels. Sounds like your dish may be warped (clamshelled) check to see that the face is perfectly flat on a flat surface.
