Sat 77

I am looking for an easy & cheap way to add sat 77 to my dishnetwork

I have VIP622 DVR. I have says 61.5, 110 & 119. 61.5 is on a dish by itself itself.

I am in the Pittsburgh area and want to get my local networks in HD. I cant get 129 at my house and thought I might be able to replace the dish for 61.5 to pickup both 61.5 & 77.

Yes, but you will net a new Dish 1000.4. PM one of the Dirt and arrange for an upgrade. Youy will pick up a number of HD channels.

I think after you run the check switch, they should show up HD. But as everyone else said, you're better off upgrading to a 1000.4 EA dish. PM a DIRT member about it and they'll see what they can do for you.

You will lose all the HD on 61.5 if you do that. You have two choices. You could turn your 110/119 dish to 61.5/72 and then turn your 61.5 dish to 77. This way you will have all the channels you are paying for. The other choice is to switch to a 1000.4 (Eastern Arc) dish. You will need to have all VIP receivers on your account for the EA.
