Sat 129 with a dish 500

I have a dish 500 that I used in my RV with a 311 receiver. I upgraded to a 211k but haven't got a 1000.2 yet. Can I use the 500 just to receive the 129 Sat? Just need it one more time before I put it away for the winter. When I'm pointing the dish should I have it looking for the 129?

If it has a twin LNB you can get 119 & 129 with a Dish500.

I have picked up 119 and 129 several times. Done it by accident when I used to do them on installs and figured out it could be done. You might as well pick up 119 and 129. The trick to doing that is to cover the 110 lnb and let 119 pickup the 129 signal (or cover up the 119 lnb and let 110 pickup the 119 signal which may be easier since 119 is stronger). Trying to receive 119 on the dish may be an easier way to pickup the 129 signal since 119 is easier to pick up.
