My Samsung 52"LCD started having a startup issue and a loud clicking noise. I knew this was trouble on the way. Today I was looking something else up at Samsung and found out about this Class Action regarding my issue. Sweet! Samsung will fix it for free. And if you already had it fixed they will reimburse you :)

I'm glad you are getting it fixed. Samsung has been quietly extending the warranties on all these sets since early 2010.

<deleted rant about frivolous class action lawsuits. Sorry>

Checked my records and found I had an extended 5 year warranty on this set. :) However the "In Home Service" means they come and take it to the repair shop and bring it back when fixed. Estimated two week repair time :( My wife will not be happy. This is her TV for the most part. They asked wether I wanted the warranty or Samsung to pay for it and I said what ever gets the thing back here working the fastest, I don't care how you bill it.

The Custom ISF Calibration on my Panasonic VT30 went POOF!
