Samsung Galaxy S4 policy

I just got done talking with Verizon and had asked about either billing the cost of the upgrade to our account after trade in (done this before with no problem) or doing their 12 month payment plan on the non contract price. I was told that due to an agreement with Samsung they aren't allowed to do either one.

Have y'all heard if that?

i haven't. but i was able to bill my i5 upgrade to my account.

Tried to bill my iPhone 5 to my account last year and was told I couldn't do it . One reason why ok going to t-mobile. They have monthly installments on the iPhones. Plus I'll save a lot of money.
