Samsung: Blu-ray Sales Will Explode

They will explode once they lower the price of thier dvds to a reasonable price. $24.99 -$34.99 for a dvd, is way to high to get the over all public interested in adopting blu-ray any time soon. The sweet spot for blu-ray should be around $19.99.
I seem to remember other projections of 2.5 to 3 fold increase over last year, so this projection is pretty much in line with others.
Just like everything else electronic, prices will come down and adoption will spread. It's just a bit much to expect huge decreases the first year.
