Same episode of a show is on twice a day and DVR records them both

Hi, a question like this has probably been asked before but...

I want to tape old episodes of Jeopardy from GSN. The problem is they air the same episode twice a day (12 PM and 1 AM). I only want to record the 12 PM showing, but when I set it to "record series" it records them both. I changed it to "first run" and it still happens. How do i make it only record the 12 PM showing without having to remember to set it to record individual episodes the 12 PM airing every couple of weeks?

I have a DirecTV HR22 if that makes a difference.

Set up a manual record.

Set it to record at 12 PM for 30 minutes, Monday thru Friday or whenever the show runs.
