Does anyone known when the Sacramento, CA MPEG4 HD LIL will start? The $200 rebate on new H20 receiver expires 2/28/06.

Thanks for the thread. I do not even know if Sacramento is in the last 36 markets to get Mpeg4. Is there any independent sites that have a list of who will becoming online? I will keep hoping because I can not receive OA signal due to a very large hill and I have been turned down several times for waivers. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Its in just about every thread regarding MPEG4 or locals. Here it is again. Sacramento / Stockton / Modesto is #19

I would say by Q2, we are all still awaitin SW2 to be handed over to DirecTV. Once that happen I see moves.

So, I presume you're somewhere in the sacto area where OTA is not an option? did you try checking to see if you can get waivers and get the LA HD feeds of ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox? I live in Camino and I qualified for all four. Somehow they were able to verify that, in my address (down close to a canyon and surround by pine trees) I can get 0 signal from OTA. Also, when I had dishnet I got a waiver CBS HD with no problem and a waiver to get the SD signal from ABC (LA and NY).

Thanks for the info. I should assume that we should receive Mpeg4 by the end of spring.
