Sabres sign Ryan Miller to an extension

Well,

I got into California very late last night (Long delay because of other flights).

I found a computer at O'Hare, and Iwas able to find out, before I got on my flight, that the Sabres did something right with one of their top players.

They paid him top-dollar.

After they let Briere, Drury, Grier, Dumont, McKee, Campbell and Biron go, It's a relief to see Buffalo KEEP a star instead of letting them walk!

I figured that he would re sign with them several weeks back when the Red Wings decided to sign someone other than Miller.
I'm guessing he wanted more than the Wings were willing to give, they seemed to drop out somewhat early.

I see they didn't disclose the figures, thats OK, I would have LOVED to have him in Detroit
