S10 doesn't play S9 Vids

I just got my S10 yesterday and I was wondering about a few things.
1 Doesn't play S9 Vids
2 Remotes exit button doesn't work
3 It wont take my S9's abs file

Older S9 firmware recorded in a proprietary format called DVR. The newer S9 firmware will record standard TS (Transport Stream) files. DVR files can be "unwrapped" and the TS file extracted using utilities such as the Ariva TS Tool or Cypheros TS Doctor.

my s10 wouldn't take old s9 firmware from 2010,it must be from 2011
If the s9 firmware loaded into the s10 is the same as when you recorded,the s10 should play fine.(assuming it's from this year)

I have gotten my S10 to take any of the newer S9 firmware fine, but nope not the older. Never had a problem exchanging transponder lists though. I have not really messed with recorded files.

The OP probably has the older S9 firmware that records in DVR format on his S9, which would probably explain why the S10 won't play his S9 recordings. Best thing to do would be to upgrade the S9 to new firmware and convert the old DVR format recordings to TS using Ariva TS Tool or Cypheros TS Doctor.
