LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Sep 18, 2008 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- On Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 11p.m. (ET) RTN Studios, in association with Equity Media Holdings Corporation, will present "DTV America Live". "DTV America Live" will answer viewer questions regarding the broadcast industry's transition to digital television next year and what it means for them. Along with taking viewer calls live on the air, demonstrations on the ways to receive digital signals will be featured.

"DTV America Live" will be hosted by "Unreliable Sources" host Gary Lee Robbins and "Closing Remarks" host Jason Roberts. Robbins and Roberts, with diverse backgrounds in television, will help viewers understand the complete picture of the digital transition. "DTV America Live" is available in all markets, though RTN affiliate stations will be given priority.

Robbins, a veteran on-air talent in television and radio, is also a broadcast engineer who has built and upgraded many digital television stations over the last few years. Robbins, having dealt personally with all sides of the digital transition, is uniquely qualified to help explain what the transition really means to viewers. "Unreliable Sources" airs live weeknights at 11 p.m. (ET) in syndication.

Jason Roberts, host of the just launched "Closing Remarks," has been an FCC attorney for 13 years and has worked for two prominent communications law firms in Washington, DC. Roberts, a Duke alumnus and Indiana University School of Law graduate, was Editor in Chief of the "Federal Communications Law Journal." Roberts is also the former President, Vice-president, and current board member of the Community Broadcasters Association. The CBA is a trade association for the low power and class A television industry. "Closing Remarks" airs live weeknights at 12a.m. (ET) in syndication.
