I just upgraded to DishHD Silver mainly to get my RSNs, SunSports and FSN Florida, for basketball season. I was looking at the FSN schedule for tomorrow night, found here, and it has two events listed at 7:00 tomorrow night. The first, an FSU basketball game, is the one I want to see. Here is the listing " 7:00PM (CBK) ACC Men's Basketball '06-'07 (RSN) 23 Florida State at Stetson (L) Non FP 12/05/2006" The other is a Panthers hockey game. I checked my guide and it has the hockey game listed. What does (RSN) mean on the FSN site. I know what RSN means but what does it mean in this context. Is it only available in some areas of the state? I'm only 2 hours from FSU, so shouldn't I be in the area? Also, on the link I posted on the right side there is a map that shows the area for Panther games and it is only in south florida. It's a long way away from me. Can someone explain this to me?

Edit: I just realized that link is hard so see so here is is again.

I just found this listed in SunSports' guide on their website.

I'm in N Central Florida. So it should be on FSN FL according to this right? But it is not listed in the guide on my receiver.

The Panthers game is on FSN not Sun Network. Most areas in Florida have the two RSN's. There are also several alternate channels which will show games as well. They will only state the names of the teams playing and not the sport. My guide (and I am not in Florida) and do not get your rsn's, is showing 'Florida State at Stetson' on both alt channels 445 and 446. Neither of them are blacked out here. TitanTv also shows game on Sun Network, which should be in your area.

Okay, thanks. It's on one of the Sports Alternate channels then. I understand. Thanks for your help.
